Well is 4 days into 2006. How are you feeling?
Make any resolutions relating to taiji? I didn’t. Nevertheless i hope :
- I will practise more
- maintain interest in chen style taiji
- learn one or 2 more chen weapon routines
- write more on this blog
- write a few more articlesthe main site
- hear more from visitors of this blog

In practicing Yang style Taijiquan for nearl 7 years, I am now seeking to learn Chen Style Taijiquan.
Most in America have watered down the art so badly that it no longer seems an art but merely hand movements.
Any suggestions to help with my 2006 resolution to learn Chen Style?
which state are you at?
hi Omar
is very important. let him/her be your guide.
while i understand perfectly what you mean, i am not sure how to help you as i am not based in the States.
Seek a good teacher (see http://quizk.com/blog/?p=17)
Hi Omar,
My suggestion is look for schools that will organise workshop with the Masters. In this way you will at least learn from the right teacher. I will suggest Kam Lee in Florida, CP Ong in NY, Lim Lip Yeow (from Singapore) now in Valhalla, New York email:limlipye [at] yahoo [dot] com or call 914-220-2194 (after office hours)…
Happy Training
Regards,
Chong Sien Long in Western Australia
