If Taijichan is closest related to Taoism beliefs, why is Buddha’s Warrior featured so prominently in both routine one and two? It appeared 4 times in Routine 1 and 3 times in Routine 2.

One reason why China promotes taiji in the 1970s among its citizens is really because of the health benefits. Its social system couldn’t afford to pay for high medical cost so it makes sense that health of its senior citizens should be good and maintained at a low cost. I supposed that is why the late Deng Xiaoping wrote “Taijichuan is good”
