There is an additional step that requires you to type in the word as seen in a graphic on the comment page. This is a common anti-spam feature used by many other sites.

“He told me that when I wasn’t looking he took a small amount of chemical and lodged it underneath his finger nails. Then, rubbing his hands together, he mixed the chemical with sweat causing a burning reaction.”
That is why I am always wary of “arts” that are too mystical

I just bought this book : ChuanTong Wushu SHi “History of Traditional Wushu”.
It is written by “ 于志钧”. ISBN is 7-300-07060-4. While the book discusses the history of Traditional Wushu, it had some interesting comments on Chen Taiji especially the origins of it. The author disputes the points put forward by Tang Hao and Gu Liuxin that Chen taiji was created by Chen WangTing. He established that the “spiritual” creator of taijiquan was Zhang Sanfeng which he said all other styles accepted. But i thought even the Yang family acknowledged …

Well if you have not watch it yet… here it is :
Does it mean anything? Well i felt it is really a Chen Taiji Pushhand champion vs someone who has just trying to do pushhands (the Japanese Sumo wrestler). However I have to give Wang ZhangJun some credit, he can hold his feet firmly during the 2nd attempt where they pushed each other.

This keeps me thinking..how many of us doing a nice Taiji routine form but no “substance” beneath it? How many of us has been caught by the aesthetic factor of the form that we have neglect the inner qi and jing development?
We often said we must cultivate both externally and internally. External will be the form …

What does it mean? Basically it means that when you move a joint, all other joints will be moving. For eg, when you switch from “Lazy man tying coat” to ” Six Healing 4 Closing” , it shouldn’t be you just moving your wrist. As you move your wrist, you “kua” should be moving. Your knees should be moving. Your waist and dantain should be moving.
In this way, you get to exercise all …

Following diagonal form, you have this Brushing Knees. It looks pretty easy to do. Just cap your hands and scoop water with them somewhere near your left knee. Then you pull back your left leg and transform your plams to the vertical palm position.
As for applications, there are quite a few here. Can you think of one?
Routines, Techniques »
Let discuss the next form in Old Frame Routine 1 – Diagonal form. Based on my experiences, this stroke will requires you to spend some effort before you could make it look smooth and elegant. Well, you haveto do it thrice in the routine so you will get lots of practise.
It has a Big Waist movement where you twist your waist from the right (while standing) to the left (while bending down the upper body). Could look funny if you doing it for the 1st time …
